The Kinsey Institute

Cardinal Stage Company and The Kinsey Institute, Indiana University invite you to join us for two events to explore the conceptions of intimacy through intellectual conversation and research.

What does intimacy mean? Is sex actually the ultimate form of intimacy? Are there other things that we could share with a partner that would feel even more intimate? How do people create intimacy in spaces where it’s assumed there is none (e.g. casual sex encounters)?

The Kinsey Institute, Indiana University has explored these questions for years, and Cardinal Stage’s production of Laura Eason’s play “Sex With Strangers” gives audiences an opportunity to see these questions at play through the characters.
