Whether you’re at the office or on the couch, join us for a live, streaming entertainment experience in celebration of Cardinal Stage. In between thrilling performances, you’ll hear how Cardinal is reimagining the theatre experience this season to take you on an artistic adventure and the announcement of Cardinal’s Winter/Spring programming! All proceeds will support Cardinal Stage’s new virtual theatre education programs.
Lunch provided by One World Catering. Lunches include your choice of sandwich (Turkey & Brie or Roasted Portobello Wrap), chips, fruit cup and dessert. Meet the Performers
Maria Walker was last seen in the ensemble of Cardinal’s Beauty and the Beast! Previous appearances with Cardinal include Mary Poppins (Winifred Banks), Annie (Grace Farrell), The Wizard of Oz (Glinda), Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte), Willy Wonka (Mrs. Bucket), The Birthday Feast (Mrs. Allegri/Farmer), A Year with Frog and Toad (Bird/Mouse/Mother Frog), Les Misérables, My Fair Lady, Oliver! and Love, Loss, and What I Wore. For Bloomington Playwrights Project: Front Page Flo (Emma). For Indiana Festival Theatre (IUST): Sense and Sensibility (Mrs. Dashwood/Mrs. Ferrars), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Maria earned her MM in Voice from IU Jacobs School of Music. She lives in Bloomington, where she regularly performs as actor, singer, and soloist in a wide variety of music and theatre projects
Julian Diaz-Granados, born in Austin, Texas, graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BM in Music Theatre. He was last seen on the Cardinal stage in 2019 as Jack Kelly in Disney’s Newsies. He made his Broadway debut in The Ruben and Clay Christmas Show at the Imperial Theater playing the role of himself! He’s since played the role of “Timmy” in Just Laugh at NYC’s Rave Theater Festival, winning Best Musical. Other credits include: “Cinderella’s Prince” in Into the Woods (OOTC), “Herb” in Junie B. Jones (Nat. Tour, TheaterWorks), “Cliff” in Cabaret (OOTC), and“Matt”in Dog Meets God (LRTC) He’s also been a Featured Vocalist onboard Holland America’s ms Koningsdam and Ms Oostersdam. Philip Christiansen has been involved with many Cardinal Stage productions, both on stage and off. On stage, he was recently seen in Cardinal’s 2019 production of Disney’s Newsies as Joseph Pulitzer and 2018 production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as Cogsworth. He has also served as the production stage manager for 18 Cardinal productions (most recently for The Roommate) and is the company stage manager for Indianapolis Opera.
Caroline Elin Jensen is excited to perform in her second Cardinal Stage production. Caroline is in 5th grade at St. Charles. Past performances include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Cardinal Stage), Disney’s Newsies (Cardinal Stage), Honk! Jr. (Stages) and for St. Charles Oh Jonah!, as the school’s first female lead. Caroline’s has also performed four times in the Jacob’s School of Music’s production of The Nutcracker, where she has been a Pre-College Ballet student since 2013. She is active in Jacobs’ Pre-College Harp Program, Young Pianist Program, and String Academy. She is a member of the Girl Scouts, 4-H, and the St. Charles Folk Group Choir. Caroline lives with her parents, Anna and Espen, and her siblings Stian, Erik, and Clara. She hopes you enjoy the livestream!
